Before you call
Do you charge for an estimate?
No. We come out, look over the surfaces you want cleaned, talk through the best approach for each one, and give you a clear, no-obligation estimate — free. Because every property is different, we quote the actual job rather than a one-size number over the phone. For simpler jobs you can also text us a photo and we'll get you a ballpark fast.
Will I deal with the owner?
Often, yes. Ty and Josh founded and run Prestige, and customers name Ty personally in their reviews — Mike Summerlin describes Ty choosing 'the best cleaners for each surface,' and John Sneeden notes 'the owner Ty did some extra things for me to make up for it.' On larger schedules a trusted lead tech like Will or Nick may run your job, and they're held to the same standard.
How much does it cost?
It depends on what's being cleaned, how much of it, and the surfaces involved — a single driveway is very different from a whole-house wash plus roof and gutters. We'd rather look at the actual job and give you a real number than quote blind. Customers describe our pricing as 'reasonably priced' and 'very fair' — you'll get a straight estimate, not a sales pitch.

Call or text (919) 520-4521, or email us with what you'd like cleaned and roughly where you are. We'll set up an estimate, then schedule a day that works for you. We're reachable every day, 9 AM to 6 PM.
Soft wash vs. pressure
What's the difference between soft washing and pressure washing?
Pressure washing uses high water pressure to blast dirt off hard surfaces like concrete. Soft washing uses low pressure and a cleaning solution to lift dirt, algae and mildew off delicate surfaces like roofs, siding and wood. The skill is knowing which to use where — we match the method to the material so everything gets clean without anything getting damaged.
Will pressure washing damage my roof?
High pressure absolutely can — it strips the granules off shingles and voids many warranties. That's why we never pressure-wash a roof. We use a true soft-wash treatment: a gentle, low-pressure application of the right solution that kills the black algae streaks at the root and lets them rinse away, with no mechanical force on the shingles. It's the method roofing manufacturers recommend.
Can you clean my composite or Trex deck without harming it?
Yes — that's exactly the kind of surface soft washing is for. As one customer wrote, 'I have Trex decking so Ty used a mild chemical that wouldn't harm the material.' We choose the pressure and cleaner your specific decking can take, lift the gray weathering and algae, and leave the surface intact and ready for stain or sealer if you want it.
Is the cleaning solution safe for my plants and pets?
We take care around landscaping — pre-wetting plants, using the right dilution and rinsing thoroughly. The products we use are standard for professional exterior cleaning and, applied properly, are safe around your yard, pets and family. If you have specific concerns, tell us up front and we'll plan the job around them.
How often should I have my house washed?
In the Triangle's climate, most homes benefit from a house wash every one to two years — pollen, humidity and shade drive algae and mildew growth faster here than in drier regions. Roofs and north-facing surfaces that stay shaded may need attention sooner. We're happy to tell you honestly what your property needs and when.

Are you insured?
Yes — Prestige Power Washing is a licensed LLC and we carry insurance, so your property is protected while we're working on it. We're also an Accredited Business with the Better Business Bureau, carrying an A+ rating you can verify yourself on the BBB site.
What does BBB Accredited mean here?
It means the Better Business Bureau has vetted Prestige Power Washing as a business that meets its standards for trust, and we hold an A+ rating — the highest grade — which reflects how we handle customers and any issues that come up. It's an independent, public record, not a claim we're asking you to take on faith.
Do you take on commercial as well as homes?
Both. Alongside residential house, roof, driveway and deck cleaning, we handle large-scale commercial exterior cleaning — storefronts, walkways, breezeways, building exteriors and lots. Our commercial clients include Crabtree Valley Mall, a TownePlace Suites by Marriott, South Point Auto Mall and a local Porsche dealership.
What if I'm not happy with the result?
We don't leave until you're happy — we walk the finished job with you before we wrap up. Our reviews are full of customers who booked more work on the spot because the first job impressed them. If something's not right, tell us and we'll make it right.
Do I need to be home during the service?
Not necessarily. For exterior work we mainly need access to water and to the areas being cleaned. Many customers leave us to it and come home to a finished job. We'll confirm what we need when we schedule, and we always leave the site tidy.
